Choose to embrace and accept Gods word

Hello our dear readers.

Today, we bring you Gods word once again to encourage, comfort and guide you. We pray that today’s reading will bless you and strengthen your faith in God as you wade through this season.

We share with you two scriptures from the Bible, where He teaches us to intentionally choose to accept His word and not doubt or murmur to ourselves, concerning His promises. Herein lies faith in Him which forms the bedrock of our salvation.

Genesis chapter 18 verses 10-14:

Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.  So, Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” (NIV)

Genesis chapter 21 verses 1 and 2: Now The Lord was gracious to Sarah as He had said, and The Lord did for Sarah what He had promised.  Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. (NIV)

Does God’s promise to you seem far fetched? Have you waited so long that you have chosen to give up, actively or quietly? Today, God calls you and I to remember His words and promises to us and to hold on in faith to His precious words.

It is the plan of the devil to make Christians see the pain over The Promise. It is the intention of the devil to keep Christians in doubt, murmuring and fear. But it is the will of God that we choose His word and hold on to His promises over the delusion of fear and deceit presented by the devil. So today choose Gods promises.

Here are some of God’s promises to you:

Psalms 30 verse 5: Weeping may endure for a night BUT joy comes in the morning.

Deuteronomy 31 verse 8: The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

So you see, God cares about you and He wants to visit you. But what are you saying to yourself? He hears your thoughts and whispers. Even when you fell alone, He is there with you and He wants you to choose to say the right things from today.

You can choose to embrace, accept and verbalise His word over your life and situation. Yes you can!

So try this in faith.  Say to yourself…

My weeping and down-days are over, my joyful days are here. Every new day is a better day for me because The Lord God Almighty is with me. I will not fear, I will not be discouraged, I will excel today better than I did  yesterday because Jesus is with me. Amen.

We pray that as you step out in faith, holding on to Gods promises and proclaiming His Word, may you experience Gods peace, comfort, encouragement and assurance over the fears and lies of the devil. May God visit you and give you a wonderful life changing gift, just as He visited and did for Sarah. Amen.
