ALL ARE AS GRASS

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Peter Chapter1 verses 22, 24 and 25 KJV
Let us take a moment and reflect on these verses. They kind of help us put in better perspective, how to live our lives daily.
Let us imagine the grass...the flower and its life span, as well as all the factors that determine its cycle. It is short, and temporary. What do you think?
Now if this is the description and the state of 'all flesh' (meaning every human being with no exception) and the glory of men with all its riches, then we need to think about how we live and enjoy our lives.
The great news is that, there is a way! Something else that endures through all ages..the word of God. On this we can hold firmly on and be assured of a great life!
Where do I start you may ask? Now here are a few applicable verses from the bible you can use in having a great life today. A great life could also mean freedom from self which propels you to bless or help someone else. Give thoughts to these words...
Romans chapter 12 verses 9 to 21 (NKJV)
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved,do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Have a great week. God bless you. Amen.
